Job summary

TAC Integrated Solutions in Los Angeles, CA seeks an experienced Security Control Assessor (SCA), Level I to lead comprehensive evaluations of management, operational, and technical security controls. You will assess systems under RMF, prepare SAR/POA&Ms, and advise government stakeholders on authorization packages and security risks.

The role requires 5-7 years of related experience, plus 3+ years in SAP/SCI contexts; ISSO/ISSM background preferred.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years related experience in security assessments or IS security.
• 3+ years in SAP, SCI, or Collateral IS with regulatory implementation.
• Prior experience as ISSO and/or ISSM.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, implementation and evaluation of IS security program policy.
• Assess ISs using RMF methodology per JSIG guidance and SAP requirements.
• Advise ISO, IDO, PSO and AO/DAO on assessment and authorization issues.
• Evaluate and recommend authorization packages and security controls.
• Identify threats and vulnerabilities and propose additional safeguards.
• Prepare SAR and POA&Ms for authorization boundaries.
• Coordinate changes to authorization boundaries and ensure SDLC compliance.
• Support government inspections and respond to security incidents.
