Job summary

Harvard Protection Services, LLC is hiring Security Officers to provide professional customer-focused security and life safety services for people and property. You will greet customers, monitor entrances, perform patrols, and prepare reports on accidents or incidents with a strong emphasis on safety and service.

Responsibilities include maintaining a professional demeanor, aiding customers and staff, and ensuring compliance with facility policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and neat, professional appearance.
• Ability to write routine reports and incident logs.

Responsibilities

• Provide concierge services and assist customers, employees, visitors, and guests.
• Maintain a visible presence in assigned facility and monitor for suspicious activity.
• Greet individuals professionally and answer phones.
• Monitor entrances/exits and enforce site policies within scope of duties.
• Conduct required patrols on foot or in vehicle and prepare incident reports.
• Observe for theft or security breaches and respond according to procedures.
• Follow emergency action plans and monitor alarms and systems.
