Anthropic is seeking a senior compliance professional to shape and drive security and privacy programs. You will lead cross-functional efforts across security, engineering, and policy to ensure regulatory alignment and customer trust in our AI safety initiatives.

The role emphasizes building scalable governance, coordinating with auditors, and guiding the organization on evolving compliance requirements for AI systems in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in audit and compliance with ownership of certification/attestation projects
• Cloud-native environments with multi-cloud/hybrid security
• Translate complex compliance requirements into actionable workstreams
• Experience with common controls/frameworks or GRC systems
• Write clear security/privacy documentation for external/internal audiences
• Thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and build processes from scratch
• Organize time-bounded task management across a diverse organization
• Educate the organization and auditors on new compliance requirements

Responsabilités

• Understand security/privacy controls across major cloud platforms using frameworks like NIST, ISO, CSA CCM, SOC 2
• Build scalable data center and hyperscaler processes and documentation for future expansion
• Assess and mitigate security/operational risks and manage vendor compliance
• Coordinate engagements with independent assessors to earn security certifications/attestations
• Write/update policies capturing security, privacy, and AI safety requirements
• Maintain and enhance security controls through audit readiness and cross-functional communication
