Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive audit and compliance experience.
• Experience in cloud-native environments and multi-cloud security considerations.
• Able to translate complex compliance requirements into actionable workstreams for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience integrating with controls frameworks or GRC systems at scale.
• Ability to write clear, useful security and privacy documentation for external and internal audiences.
• Thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and build processes from scratch.
• Organize time-bounded task management across a diverse organization.
• Educate the organization on new compliance requirements and auditors on current security practices.

Responsibilities

• Understand security and privacy frameworks across major cloud platforms (e.g., NIST, ISO, CSA).
• Build scalable data center and hyperscaler processes and documentation systems for future expansion.
• Assess and mitigate security and operational risks; manage vendor compliance.
• Coordinate engagements with independent assessors to earn security credentials and attestations.
• Write, update and enact policies capturing security, privacy, and AI safety requirements.
• Maintain and enhance security controls through audit readiness and cross-functional communication.
