Job summary

Security Engineers, Inc. is seeking dependable Command Center Operators to support safe and secure environments for our clients. This role monitors critical security systems, dispatches responses, processes alerts, and enforces site policies.

Candidates should have a valid Security Officer license or ability to obtain one, plus a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR and be at least 18 years old. The position offers full-time, on-site work with paid training where allowed.

Qualifications

• Valid Security Officer/Guard License or ability to obtain one.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch fire, medical, chemical, and traffic incident responses.
• Answer associate calls regarding lateness or absences and update internal systems.
• Respond to duress alarms and acknowledge card access alerts.
• Control and document access to client property.
• Prevent loss or damage due to fire, equipment issues, or safety hazards.
• Issue Hot Work and Confined Space permits.
• Enforce client rules, regulations, and access requirements.
• Operate multiple software platforms concurrently.
• Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols to identify and report hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify proper identification.
• Review camera systems and surveillance feeds for suspicious activity.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies following protocols.
• Maintain accurate logs of activities, incidents, and communications.
• Perform routine tasks such as unlocking/locking doors and monitoring equipment.
• Assist visitors and employees professionally.
• Enforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols.
• Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies, including parking, smoking, and loitering rules.
