Job summary

B4Corp is seeking a Test Engineer to support Agile software development and automation testing in a cloud environment. The candidate should have strong Java/Python programming skills and hands-on automation framework experience with Selenium or Katalon Studio.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph and collaboration with Scrum roles to deliver automated test coverage, performance testing, and test narrative documentation using Jira/Confluence. Bethesda, MD location.

Qualifications

• Experience in software quality assurance with a significant focus on automation testing.
• Experience with creation, authoring, execution and documentation of test cases/result sets for software products in an agile cadence.
• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing robust automation frameworks using tools like Selenium or Katalon Studio.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java or Python enabling the ability to write efficient and scalable test scripts.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub) and their integration with automated tests.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Agile software development initiatives to support testing of custom applications in a cloud environment.
• Assess StoryPoint/complexity efforts to ensure proper testing and delivery per User Story Acceptance Criteria.
• Develop test approaches with emphasis on automation of recurring/regression test cases.
• Develop automated test cases using GUI/COTS products (e.g., Selenium and Katalon Studio).
• Leverage DevOps practices to ensure repeatability and maintainability of test scripts.
