Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Aurora, CO is seeking a Systems Administrator to support large government contracts. You will perform Linux and Windows system administration and manage VMware ESXi environments and NAS storage while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Required are a TS clearance with SCI access, DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification or ability to obtain, and strong RMF/STIG compliance experience in a DoD setting. This role may require after-hours support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years IT experience and active Top Secret clearance with SCI access.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience administering Linux (RedHat preferred) and Windows servers in DoD environments.
• Experience with VMware ESXi, NAS storage (NetApp), and RMF/STIG compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform Linux and Windows system administration on large government contracts.
• Administer VMware technologies and NAS storage.
• Maintain security audit/logging and support Cyber Security team.
• Provide backup/recovery, and manage user accounts and access.
• Report project status and coordinate with stakeholders.
