Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks a Systems Administrator – Leel 2 or 3, based at Buckley Space Force Base, Aurora, CO. You will administer Linux servers on large government contracts and coordinate with network, software, and IT teams.

You must hold DoD TS/SCI clearance (or higher) with IAT Level II certification or ability to obtain within 6 months. Travel up to 10% and strict security guidelines apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience; Master's with 0 years; additional 4 years may substitute for degree.
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance or higher at time of application.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II baseline certification (e.g., Security+ CE) or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform as a Linux Systems Administrator on large, classified government contracts.
• Communicate effectively with internal/external customers in written and verbal formats.
• Maintain and support multi-user computer systems across network and software teams.
• Monitor and support multiple networks and systems; document processes.
