Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a System Administrator/Cybersecurity Specialist to support the Surveillance Radar Program (SRP) in Taiwan. The role focuses on LAN/HW maintenance, engineering drawings, and operations in a remote, challenging environment.

Ideal candidates have experience with large phased array radars, and are comfortable with rotations on a mountain top. Security clearance and US citizenship are required, with broad responsibilities across IT and cybersecurity tasks.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM; relevant work experience may replace degree.
Willing to work 13 hours, 5 days per week.
Able to troubleshoot server issues (Windows/Linux/Unix).
Fabricate and test network cables and interconnects.
Active Secret Clearance required.
Proficient in computer systems and networking.

Responsibilities

Install and administer UNIX hardware/OS (AIX, RHEL).
Install, operate, and troubleshoot VMware ESXi.
Install, operate, and troubleshoot PBX/VOIP systems.
Provide training and develop maintenance procedures for networked data processing systems.
Monitor network/server health; take corrective action.
Enforce cyber policy and triage security alerts.
Collaborate with team on Smart Cards issuance and deployment policies.
