Job summary

Elastic in the United States is seeking a senior consultant to lead delivery and strategic engagements with government clients. You will drive customer advocacy, align Elastic solutions with their objectives, and own the strategic roadmap through quarterly sessions with senior stakeholders.

You will design, develop, and integrate Elastic products and APIs in mission-critical environments, build demos, and help scale analytics at pace.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch and/or Lucene.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Software Engineer, System Administrator, or DevOps Engineer.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Consultant delivering professional services engagements.
• Current UK security clearance, or willingness to undergo security clearance.
• Experience presenting to large audiences on enterprise infrastructure software.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and advocate for customer needs.
• Pivot from delivery to strategic engagements with customers.
• Collaborate with Elastic teams to align with customer goals and journey.
• Own strategic roadmap sessions with senior stakeholders.
• Design, integrate, and optimize Elastic products and APIs in mission-critical environments.
• Develop demos and PoCs highlighting Elastic Stack value.
• Model data, develop queries, and tune clusters for fast search and analytics.
• Identify feature improvements with Elastic engineering and product teams.
• Coordinate with Sales to scope opportunities and assess risks.
