Job summary

Elastic is expanding its Public Sector presence in Germany and seeks a senior consultant who can lead stakeholder relationships with government customers. The role requires hands-on experience with Elasticsearch/Lucene, and current German security clearance or prior clearance.

You will work with services, engineering and sales teams across delivery and strategy, owning roadmaps and delivering high-impact outcomes while traveling to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch and Lucene
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Software Engineer/DevOps/Administrator
• Minimum of 5 years in consultant roles delivering professional services
• German security clearance currently held or previously held
• Fluency in German is essential
• Experience presenting to large audiences on enterprise infrastructure software
• Strong ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions
• Wamiliarity with open-source technologies and at least one programming language

Responsibilities

• Own strategic roadmap with customers and lead quarterly sessions with stakeholders
• Design, develop, and integrate Elastic products and APIs in mission-critical environments
• Provide solution demos and proofs-of-concept to highlight Elastic Stack value
• Collaborate with Elastic teams to identify feature enhancements
• Engage with Sales to scope opportunities and assess technical risks
• Travel to customer sites as required
