Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Software Engineering Lead to oversee development and integration of client system components, including IaC/CaC and APIs. You will design, implement, and maintain code, perform unit testing, and drive security best practices within an Agile team.

The role requires a strong background in software engineering, cloud deployments, and DoD 8140 compliance, with collaboration across UI/UX and database professionals.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience in software development and integration.
• Three years of experience deploying cloud resources using IaC/CaC templates in AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Three years of experience using DevSecOps pipelines to deploy software in AWS or Azure.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining complex software solutions.
• Must meet DoD 8140 requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree (or 4 years of equivalent experience) in IT, Cybersecurity, CS, IS, Data Science, SWE, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee software development and integration for Client System components.
• Translate system designs into robust software designs and implement code, IaC/CaC, and configuration as code.
• Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive unit tests and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot defects, optimize for performance and scalability, and integrate with APIs/external systems.
• Implement security best practices in code development and collaborate with UI/UX and database teams.
• Document code, APIs, and technical designs; participate in Agile ceremonies; stay current with emerging technologies.
