Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional security experience.
• Leading application or cloud security initiatives in regulated environments.
• Strong security architecture, threat modeling, and controls implementation.
• Hands-on with cloud services (Azure, AWS) and IAM concepts.
• Familiar with NIST, FedRAMP, Zero Trust, CIS benchmarks.
• Proficient in DevSecOps tooling and secure pipeline orchestration.
• Ability to document security posture and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end security readiness of applications and ensure compliance with federal and enterprise frameworks.
• Drive security architecture, secure configurations, threat modeling, and regulatory alignment.
• Coordinate security assessments, vulnerability analyses, and remediation planning.
• Partner with product, engineering, cloud, and compliance teams on secure-by-design solutions.
• Develop security documentation: SSPs, POA&Ms, diagrams, control evidence, and monitoring artifacts.
• Establish best practices for application security, IAM, CI/CD security, and hardening.
• Mentor teams on secure development practices across the SDLC.
• Oversee security controls for ongoing compliance, resiliency, and ATO sustainment.
• Drive continuous improvement in security processes and tooling.
