Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Software Engineering Lead to oversee software development and integration across infrastructure, data tools, and user interfaces. You will translate system designs into robust software, implement IaC/CaC, write clean, maintainable code, and participate in code reviews to ensure quality.

The role requires 10 years in software development, 3 years IaC/CaC in cloud environments, and DoD 8140 compliance.

Qualifications

10 years of experience in software development and integration.
3 years of experience deploying cloud resources using IaC/CaC templates in AWS, Azure or GCP.
3 years of experience in using DevSecOps pipelines to deploy software packages in AWS or Azure.
Demonstrated expertise in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining complex software solutions.
Must meet DoD 8140 requirements.
Bachelor’s degree or four years of equivalent work experience in IT or related field.

Responsibilities

Translate system engineering designs into robust software designs.
Design, implement, and maintain source code, IaC, and Configuration-as-Code.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code and create unit tests.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects; optimize for performance and scalability.
Integrate with APIs and external systems.
Implement security best practices in code development.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers and database specialists.
Document code, APIs, and technical designs.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
