Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks a Systems Engineer/Cloud Solutions Architect to design, implement, and manage cloud-based IT infrastructure with a focus on AWS and Azure for defense and commercial clients. You will collaborate with DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and systems engineers to deliver scalable, secure infrastructure and maintain IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, and CDK.

You will strengthen security through DISA STIGs, vulnerability assessments, and RMF compliance while supporting CI/CD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years in Systems Engineering.
• 5 years IT engineering experience in cloud/engineering roles.
• Experience in full stack development of .NET applications.
• Proficiency in AWS or Azure configurations and deployments.
• Experience preparing reports on security vulnerabilities, incidents, and risk management activities.
• Assist in cloud development cycles and CI/CD pipelines.
• Audit and maintain code repositories.
• Must maintain DoD 8140 compliance for IAT 2 or Security+ CE.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure cloud-based solutions using AWS and Azure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and systems engineers, to deliver robust infrastructure solutions.
• Lead the development and maintenance of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, and CDK.
• Strengthen system security by implementing DISA STIGs, conducting vulnerability assessments, and remediating identified risks.
• Support the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process to achieve system accreditation and ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards.
• Manage containerized environments, monitor system performance, and provide support for complex technical issues.
• Author and maintain technical documentation, including system design artifacts, SOPs, and project plans.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to enhance operational capabilities.
