Job summary

Leidos Defense Sector is seeking a TS/SCI-cleared Senior Network Administrator to support installation, configuration, and day-to-day management of enterprise network infrastructure on-site at Langley Air Force Base, VA.

The role offers hands-on experience with routing, switching, and Session Smart Router (SSR) platforms, including 128 Technology SD-WAN solutions, while adhering to DoD network standards and security controls.

Qualifications

8+ years experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years with a Master’s degree
Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required
DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II – Security+ CE or higher
Solid understanding of OSI model, TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, routing protocols, WAN technologies
Hands-on LAN switching on Juniper EX/Cisco Catalyst platforms (VLANs, STP, trunking)
Experience with firewall rules, IPsec VPNs, and security controls
Ability to work in a team under supervision and communicate clearly

Responsibilities

Configure, deploy, and manage routers, switches, and SSR appliances across enterprise and edge environments
Design routing policies, service policies, and traffic steering configurations
Perform LAN switching administration, VLANs, STP, trunking on Juniper/Cisco platforms
Configure and troubleshoot OSPF and BGP across WAN and data center environments
Monitor network health and troubleshoot with network management tools
Maintain network diagrams, inventories, and SOPs
Coordinate with engineers, admins, and security personnel to resolve incidents
Participate in on-call rotation and support outages
