Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Network Administrator to support installation, configuration, and day-to-day management of enterprise network infrastructure at Langley AFB, VA. This on-site role targets an early-career professional with a strong networking foundation and willingness to learn vendor technologies.

Qualifications include a DoD TS/SCI clearance, a Security+ CE at minimum, and hands-on experience with routing, switching, VLANs, and WAN technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience or Master's with 2+ years.
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required.
• DoD 8570/8140-compliant certification at IAT Level II (Security+ CE) required.
• Strong understanding of OSI model, TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and WAN technologies.
• Experience with LAN switching concepts on Juniper EX/Cisco Catalyst platforms including VLANs, STP, trunking.

Responsibilities

• Assist in configuring, deploying, and managing routers, switches, and SSR appliances across enterprise networks.
• Support routing policies, service policies, and traffic steering on SSR/128 Technology platforms under guidance.
• Perform LAN switching administration (VLANs, STP, trunking) on Juniper/Catalyst gear.
• Troubleshoot routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) across WAN and data center environments.
• Monitor network health and assist root-cause analysis; support firewall, ACLs, VPN configurations.
