Job summary

V2X seeks an experienced SATCOM maintenance professional to augment 24x7 operations in Hawaii. The role involves operating satellite terminals, baseband equipment, encryption devices, and fault diagnostics, with duties including incident reporting and after-action documentation.

Must hold IAT Level II or a 4-year technical degree, complete 3M training, and have 3+ years supervisory experience in maintenance management. U.S. citizenship and security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• IAT Level II certification or a 4-year science/math degree.
• Technical/Associate’s degree will be considered.
• Successful completion of 3M training is required.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in Maintenance Manager functions.

Responsibilities

• Augment 24x7x365 operation and maintenance of the SATCOM facility.
• Operate baseband multiplexing, switching and routing equipment.
• Activate telecommunications services including TDMA/FDMA.
• Monitor satellite earth terminals, modems and baseband equipment.
• Operate encryption devices: strap, key load, verification of lock.
• Use test equipment and report faults to supervisor for action.
• Take initial trouble calls and escalate as needed.
• Operate SATCOM control information systems and applications.
• Prepare written reports (24, AARs, HAZCON, OERs, DSRs).
