Job summary

V2X Inc. seeks a Satellite Communications Maintenance Manager to oversee 24x7 operations of SATCOM ground terminals and related equipment. You will manage TDMA/FDMA concepts, ensure secure encryption, and coordinate fault isolation with field teams to maintain uninterrupted service.

Qualifications

• CSWF certification required.
• IAT Level II certification or a 4-year Science or Mathematics degree.
• 3M Systems training completed (Military/DoD maintenance).
• Minimum of three years supervisory experience in maintenance management.

Responsibilities

• Augment 24x7x365 operation and maintenance of the facility with SATCOM equipment.
• Operate baseband, switching, routing, and new-fielded systems.
• Activate and provide telecommunications services per orders and authorizations.
• Monitor satellite earth terminals, modems, and baseband equipment.
• Operate encryption devices and manage key loading and verification.
• Use test equipment and report faults for upper-level maintenance actions.
• Take initial trouble calls, escalate issues on time.
• Operate information systems for SATCOM control, monitoring and configuration.
• Originate written reports including After-Action, Outage, and Daily Status Reports.
