Job summary

Afognak Native Corporation seeks a Safety Manager responsible for ALMS and subcontracted work activities to ensure safety standards across all employees on site.

You will lead safety audits, investigate incidents, support regulatory compliance, and develop JSAs while maintaining training records and coordinating with project teams.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least four years of safety experience, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency with Excel and Word.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or applicable experience.
• Minimum 4 years of technical safety management experience.
• Current state driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word).
• Experience with safety/environmental regulations and contract obligations.
• Accident investigation and reporting principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety audits and file reports timely.

• Develop job safety analyses (JSA) to support restricted duty.
