Job summary

Afognak Native Corporation is seeking a QC/QA Lead - Mechanical to manage quality assurance and control activities for O&M mechanical systems across large facilities. The role supports implementation of reliability-centered maintenance and ensures proper testing and corrective actions.

You will develop and oversee QC/QA procedures, conduct inspections, ensure compliance with codes and safety standards, and report findings to Project and Operations Managers.

Qualifications

• Secret Clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a facilities management discipline.
• Minimum fifteen (15) years’ experience in major industrial or construction projects in QC/QA roles.
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience as a QC/QA Lead.
• Proficient with mechanical O&M systems and RCM with NDT.

Responsibilities

• Set up, manage, and improve the QC/QA program for mechanical systems.
• Establish and document QC/QA procedures and method statements.
• Oversee mechanical inspections and testing per standards.
• Implement and monitor RCM programs and non-destructive testing methods.
• Guarantee compliance with codes, regulatory, and safety standards.
• Document findings and provide reports to Project and Operations Managers.
