Responsibilities include mowing, trimming, edging, irrigation system operation, reporting and scheduling tasks, soil analysis for fertilizers, and ensuring work aligns with COLS standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or a related field.
• Technical knowledge and skills in lawn care and irrigation systems.
• Ability to operate and maintain grounds maintenance equipment safely.
• Must possess valid driver's license.
• Pursuant to Government Contract, you must be a U.S. citizen.
• Clearance TS/SCI is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform mowing, trimming, edging, and general lawn care to maintain uniform grass height and a neat appearance.
• Operate and maintain irrigation systems and report issues within 24 hours.
• Ensure safety around ammunition bunkers and avoid gas-powered equipment in sensitive areas.
• Submit soil analysis and fertilizer proposals for approval before application.
• Identify and report non-recurring work to project manager and maintain COLS standards.
• Maintain grounds across improved, semi-improved, and unimproved areas.

Job description

ALMS are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscaper to manage and maintain the grounds of our installation. Landscaping role includes lawn maintenance, vegetation removal and debris removal. The role requires maintaining aesthetically pleasing grounds across improved, semi-improved, and unimproved areas while adhering to safety and environmental regulations. Grounds Maintenance: o Perform mowing, trimming, edging, and general lawn care to maintain uniform grass height and a neat appearance. o Control undesired vegetation and remove debris to ensure a clean and tidy environment.

• Irrigation System Maintenance: o Operate and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper water application for lawns and other vegetation. o Report any inoperable irrigation system components within 24 hours of discovery and repair as needed.
• Safety and Environmental Compliance: o Ensure all equipment used is approved for use around ammunition bunkers and sensitive areas. o Avoid using gas-powered equipment in environmentally sensitive areas. o Obtain necessary certifications and follow safety protocols.
• Quality Assurance: o Maintain improved, semi-improved, and unimproved grounds to ensure they meet the specified Common Output Level Standards (COLS). o Submit soil analysis test results and proposed fertilizer types for approval before application. o Replace or restore any lawns, plants, or property damaged during operations.
• Reporting and Scheduling: o Identify and recommend non-recurring work as needed to comply with COL3 basic requirements and report to project manager.
• Other Duities: o As assigned by manager REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Clearance Required: TS/SCI
