Job summary

PGTEK is seeking a Private Cloud Automation Engineer to support automation workflows and cloud orchestration in classified environments. You will design, build, and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions for scalable private cloud operations across geographically distributed sites.

Responsibilities include provisioning tenants and cloud services, while integrating with APIs and ensuring security policy and compliance across multi-vendor setups. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance (mandatory)
• Strong background in modern data center technologies
• Proficiency in Python scripting
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services
• Hands-on IaC using Ansible and Terraform
• Familiarity with at least one major public cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving with a customer focus
• Willingness to travel up to 50% (travel expenses covered)

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation workflows for provisioning tenants, users, and cloud services
• Create and manage deployment blueprints using Morpheus
• Convert manual tasks into repeatable automated processes
• Integrate with APIs and web services for configuration and deployment automation
• Support identity management, security policy implementation, and compliance across multi-vendor environments
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and security teams to promote DevOps practices
