Job summary

Black Eagle Defense is seeking a Network Engineer II to join the Network Administration team at Fort Meade. You will provide technical support, monitor and improve the current infrastructure, and help automate network administration tasks.

The role involves contributing to network design, performing CND operations, and ensuring ISO 9000 and DoD/IC compliance across the network environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering or related field; 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree in Network Engineering or related field; 8+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Network Administrators and System Administrators while monitoring and maintaining the current infrastructure.
• Input to the design of the organization's network and mission architecture.
• Conduct Computer Network Defense operations, plan and install network upgrades, contribute to network design, and perform QA/QC.
• Configure and maintain the organization's network diagrams and accreditations.
• Integrate hardware and software to satisfy ISO 9000 and other DoD/IC regulations.
• Oversee support for all network equipment.
• Support the integration of the analytic platform into the CND CDC.
