Job summary

Captivation Software is seeking a mid level network engineer to support a civilian-led team responsible for two operating customers. You will configure, validate, and sustain network gear across field locations, lab environments, and contractor facilities, ensuring SSP compliance and timely issue resolution.

You will travel occasionally to CONUS/OCONUS locations, be on-call for operational systems, and collaborate via JIRA with field teams to maintain network integrity and security.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of experience providing network engineering support.
• Bachelor’s Degree in related technical discipline required.
• IAT level I baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M is required.

Responsibilities

• Configure and sustain network devices across multiple locations, including 2 civilian leads and 7 contractors.
• Support SSP compliance work and system upgrades in lab and field.
• Travel occasionally to OCONUS locations and be on-call for operational systems.
• Configure firewall and crypto gear, support cloud or hyperconverged environments as needed.
• Collaborate using JIRA tickets and coordinate with field teams.
