Job summary

Black Eagle Defense is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer III to join their team at Fort Meade. The role focuses on supporting Network Administrators and Systems Administrators, maintaining infrastructure, improving performance, and automating routine tasks.

You will contribute to network design and defense operations within a DoD/IC regulated environment. The candidate will design algorithms for networking models, lead large installation projects, and ensure compliance with ISO 9000 and DoD

Qualifications

• Master's or higher in a relevant field with extensive network engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree plus 12 years of relevant experience; or 16 years of experience in lieu of degrees.
• IAT III baseline certification and CCNP are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Network Administrators and System Administrators while monitoring and maintaining the current infrastructure, improving system performance, and automating system administration.
• Input to the design of the organization's network and mission architecture.
• Conduct Computer Network Defense operations, plan and install network upgrades, contribute to network design, and perform quality assurance and control.
• Configure and maintain the organization's network diagrams and accreditations.
• Integrate hardware and software to satisfy DoD and IC regulations (ISO 9000).
• Oversee support for all network equipment and assist in integrating analytic platforms.
