Job summary

Serco is hiring a Network Administrator for CNIC Regional Offices in Norfolk, VA. The role focuses on NMCI/COSC planning, coordination, and IT service delivery, including network design, security compliance, and incident response.

You will work to improve uptime and support Navy OT initiatives in a DoD environment. Qualified candidates will hold an active DoD Secret clearance, an IAT 8570 Level II certification, and a minimum of six years of hands-on IT experience, with NMCI background

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Current DoD IAT 8570 Level II compliant certification.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Minimum 6 years of hands-on IT experience with relevance to systems, testing, requirements, or training.
• Hands-on IT technical experience.
• Experience supporting NMCI.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Provide Windows upgrade support and PC refresh activities.
• Assist NMCI users with CAC issues and general technical support.
• Plan, design, install, and maintain Navy OT networks across CNIC regional offices.
• Maintain OT systems per Navy directives and ensure cybersecurity alignment.
• Coordinate with vendors and government agencies for network device support.
• Monitor and document network incidents, ACLs, and connectivity issues.
• Respond to security incidents as directed by Region N6.
• Ensure servers and network gear are configured and documented.
