Job summary

Centuria is seeking a Staff IT Services Support professional to join the USFF/N6 team at Norfolk, VA, on-site. The role focuses on IT administrative and Tier 1 support across NMCI/NGEN environments, with responsibilities including equipment management, CNM/CTR liaison, and coordination of upgrades.

The ideal candidate has NMCI/NGEN experience, a minimum of two years in Tier 1 support, and holds an active Secret clearance plus a CompTIA Security+ certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years NMCI/NGEN environment experience.
• 2+ years of Tier 1 or higher customer support experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Active Secret clearance is required.
• CompTIA Security+ certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT administrative and Tier 1 technical support to users, including desk phones, mobile devices, NMCI equipment, and printers.
• Serve as liaison between Headquarters staff and NGEN management as CTR function.
• Validate NMCI/NGEN equipment inventories and services with Staff ISSOs.
• Process MAC requests, CLINs, and Modifications to meet staff requirements.
• Coordinate NMCI/NGEN equipment refresh and related logistics with NMCI/NGEN personnel.
• Coordinate NMCI/NGEN network upgrades to minimize impact to staff operations.
• Maintain accurate VIP inventory and report status to IT Services Support Supervisor.
• Collaborate with NMCI/NGEN Help Desk and other support organizations to resolve issues promptly.
• Interface with USFF NGEN IT Management for orders and engineering services.
• Conduct software testing for NMCI/NGEN deployments; participate in training sessions.
