Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks an experienced engineer to join the Mission Systems team in Fort Wayne, IN, focusing on testbench design, verification, and RTL development for high-performance digital ASICs and FPGAs used in signal processing and information assurance.

Requires STEM degree with 2+ years of experience or an advanced degree, and an active U.S. security clearance. Onsite role with relocation assistance options available.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM with at least 2 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree.
• Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience coding and simulating RTL in VHDL or Verilog.
• Testbench development for RTL using VHDL and SystemVerilog; familiarity with chip verification.
• Proficiency with common ASIC/FPGA tools and revision control (Git, Subversion).

Responsibilities

• Design and verify testbenches for high-performance digital ASICs/ FPGAs.
• Develop verification environment architecture using SystemVerilog OVM/UVM.
• Create test plans, cases, and code coverage tracking.
• Provide technical leadership and plan activities for verification teams.
• Contribute to estimates for new programs.
