Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a procurement specialist to support RFQ issuance, PO creation, and supplier coordination. The role focuses on timely delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and procurement system utilization.

You will monitor supplier performance, maintain records, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and internal policies. This position is remote with a US-based scope and requires a US person status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Experience generating purchase orders and managing suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Experience working in a procurement or supply chain role.
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Responsibilities

• Issue RFQs to suppliers, ensuring clarity and alignment with requirements.
• Generate purchase orders and manage the procurement lifecycle to meet delivery schedules.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery and address issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with business needs.
• Utilize procurement tools and systems to track purchase orders and supplier performance.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
