Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking Data Center Engineering Operations Technicians to be on the front line for electrical and mechanical operations within AWS data centers.

You will operate, monitor, and troubleshoot generators, switchgear, UPS, PDU, AHUs, pumps, and building automation systems, with 12-hour rotating shifts. Candidates must hold an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and pursue TS/SCI with polygraph after hire, while complying with safety policies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Current, active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mechanical, electrical, generator, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center.
• Troubleshoot facility equipment and rack-level events.
• Perform limited maintenance tasks (filters, HVAC PMs, rack power installs, PDU, ATS).
• Provide support to Data Center Operations technicians and supervise contractors.
