Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer with web application development experience and exposure to full-stack capabilities to design, build, test, and maintain scalable software systems. You will contribute to front-end and back-end services, APIs, and collaboration with the team to deliver reliable, high-performance applications.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent with 2–4 years of relevant experience or a Master’s with less than 2 years of experience.
• Active Secret security clearance is required.
• Expertise in front-end web application development in one or more programming languages is required.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and system scalability.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain source code and develop software applications with release-ready frameworks.
• Program, document, configure, test, and fix bugs across the release life cycle.
• Collaborate with the development team to deliver high-performance applications.
• Work on front-end and back-end services, APIs, and full-stack tasks as needed.
• Communicate solutions and procedures to colleagues across multiple areas.
