Job summary

Titan Security is hiring a Security Captain to oversee an industrial site in Cleveland, Ohio. The role includes supervising gates, docks, patrols, and training programs, with the Site Manager taking lead in their absence.

The candidate should have a degree in Criminal Justice or related field and security experience in industrial settings. Required certifications include TWIC and Guard Card; CPP and OSHA-10 are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 of Supervisor Experience and Industrial Security experience.
• Previous MARSEC and Industrial facility security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee security gates, dock officers, patrol officers, and special details.
• Develop curriculum, run training/drills, and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Fill in for the Site Manager (in their absence) or open Shift Security Captain positions.
• Trained to cover any position under their supervision.
• Provide detailed information on vehicle inspections.
• Document departmental pre-operational vehicle checks.
• Provide department inventories and general inventories.
• Review traffic enforcement, including a summary of written tickets.
• Provide a summary of patrol activities.
• Conduct and report on an audit of building inspections.
• Provide a summary of active security systems and equipment impairments.
• Outline a summary of safety concerns.
• Document training activities and drill summaries.
• Report a summary of gate paperwork discrepancies.
• Provide a summary of generated KPI reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Document a summary of training activities alongside a drill summary.
• Report a summary of gate paperwork discrepancies.
• Provide a summary of generated Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Benefits:

Education and/or Experience: Degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement Management or related field and/or equivalent experience/education preferred. Minimum of 2 of Supervisor Experience and Industrial Security experience. Previous MARSEC and Industrial facility security experience preferred.

Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Ability to obtain a TWIC Card, and a Guard Card.

Preferred Certifications: CPP certification (ASIS), OSHA-10.

Physical Demands:The physical demands are based on the contract and must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. A list of these job duties is inclusive of, but not limited to: candidates must be able to stand for extended periods of time; be able to lift, push, and/or pull at least 50 lbs.; be able to accommodate foot patrols on the interior & exterior of the assigned facility; be able to perform assigned duties regardless of inclement weather.
