Job summary

Titan Security is currently hiring a Security Captain to work at an Industrial location in Cleveland, Ohio. The role oversees security gates, dock officers, patrol officers, and special details, while developing training programs and maintaining audit-ready documentation to ensure compliance and safety.

Candidates should have a degree in Criminal Justice or related field and at least 2 years of supervisor and industrial security experience, with the ability to obtain a TWIC Card and Guard Card.

Qualifications

• Degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisor experience in security.
• Industrial facility security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee security gates, dock officers, patrol officers, and special details.
• Develop curriculum, run training/drills, and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Fill in for the Site Manager in the absence or for open shifts.
• Provide summaries of vehicle inspections and KPI reports.

Titan Security is currently hiring a Security Captain to work at an Industrial location in Cleveland, Ohio.

Responsibilities

include but are no limited to:

• Oversee security gates, dock officers, patrol officers, and special details.
• Develop curriculum, run training/drills, and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Fill in for the Site Manager (in their absence) or open Shift Security Captain positions.
• Trained to cover any position under their supervision.
• Provide detailed information on vehicle inspections
• Document departmental pre-operational vehicle checks
• Provide both departmental vehicle inventories and general departmental inventories.
• Review traffic enforcement, specifically including a summary of written tickets.
• Provide a summary of patrol activities.
• Conduct and report on an audit of building inspections.
• Provide a summary of active security systems and any equipment impairments.
• Outline a summary of safety concerns.
• Document a summary of training activities alongside a drill summary.
• Report a summary of gate paperwork discrepancies.
• Provide a summary of generated Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Benefits

Education and/or Experience: Degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement Management or related field and/or equivalent experience/education preferred. Minimum of 2 of Supervisor Experience and Industrial Security experience. Previous MARSEC and Industrial facility security experience preferred.

Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Ability to obtain a TWIC Card, and a Guard Card.

Preferred Certifications: CPP certification (ASIS), OSHA-10.

Physical Demands: The physical demands are based on the contract and must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. A list of these job duties is inclusive of, but not limited to: candidates must be able to stand for extended periods of time; be able to lift, push, and/or pull at least 50 lbs.; be able to accommodate foot patrols on the interior & exterior of the assigned facility; be able to perform assigned duties regardless of inclement weather.
