Job summary

HealthPartners' Park Nicollet site in Bloomington seeks a Security Badging Coordinator to oversee issuance, maintenance, and revocation of all physical access credentials for colleagues, contractors, students, volunteers and visitors at Methodist Hospital.

You will ensure accurate records in access control systems, perform routine audits, troubleshoot badge-related issues, and collaborate with Security, IT and HR to enforce access policies across the organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with security experience.
• 2-year or 4-year degree plus security experience.
• Ability to obtain access-control certifications.
• Advanced knowledge of access-control and credential-management systems.
• Experience administering role-based access and schedules.
• Advanced badge printers and photo-management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Issue, activate, deactivate and replace colleagues and contractors; maintain detailed access records.
• Assign access levels based on role and policies; ensure compliance with standards.
• Update user profiles and coordinate with IT/Security to resolve system errors.
• Conduct audits and remove access for unauthorized or expired users.
• Support security projects and document processes for audits.
