You will support badging, access control, key management, and panic alarm systems, ensuring data integrity and timely processing of requests.

Responsibilities include badge issuance/terminations, key control, vendor sign-ins, system audits, and daily clerical duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or other native language helpful.

Responsibilities

• BADGE - Manage UNMH badge access system: issue new badges, terminate access, data entry, troubleshooting, supplies, lost badge requests, and related tasks.
• KEYS - Issue/collect keys; maintain records; ensure inventory control of all keys.
• CORRESPONDENCE - Manage security office emails; draft confidential communications; respond to routine inquiries about policies and procedures.
• SYSTEMS - Maintain online security request system; process urgent requests; ensure actions comply with policies.
• SYSTEMS - Oversee Canopy personal panic alarm system; update staff info; activate alarms; deactivate access on separation; troubleshoot issues.
• AUDITS - Conduct routine and special audits; track lost/stolen badges/keys; review badge access permissions for accuracy.
• LOST & FOUND - Process lost and found items.
• VENDORS - Sign-in for approved vendors; verify credentials; ensure compliance with vendor procedures.
• DATA - Enter required information into badge access system; verify data for completeness; ensure timely processing.
• SCHEDULE - Assist with scheduling large groups for badging; plan and prioritize workload.
• CLERICAL - Perform clerical tasks as needed (filing, typing, reception, scanning).
• TRANSACTIONS - Manage petty cash; collect badge/keys payments; reconcile; submit weekly cash deposits.
