Job summary

Target Savannah is hiring a Security Specialist to protect guests, team members and assets. You will use surveillance, incident documentation, and de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe, welcoming store environment.

The role requires being at least 18, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. Training will cover store procedures and Target's security systems.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet state/local licensure requirements as applicable.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and communicate on multiple frequency devices.
• Effective communication and ability to work independently and with a team.
• Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Create a friendly guest experience while maintaining safe store operations.
• Respond to incidents quickly and document them in the case management system.
• Utilize de-escalation tactics and Target's video surveillance system as needed.
• Conduct merchandise checks and prevent theft following AP policies.
• Collaborate with store leadership and security team to maintain security standards.
