Job summary

Marksman Security in Olathe is hiring Licensed Armed Security Officers for a 2nd shift at a food distribution warehouse. The role involves patrols, access control, temperature checks, CCTV, and gatehouse duties.

You must have a 9mm firearm, a level 3 holster, at least one year of security background, and be able to pass pre-employment screening. Compensation is $22.00 per hour, with benefits and career advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Class A Patrol Kansas City Security License preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; pre-employment background and drug screening.
• Physical requirements include crawling, kneeling, climbing stairs, bending and walking for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage all guest/visitor access and eject trespassers or violators from the premises when deemed necessary
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
• Other duties to be determined by operations
