What you will do
Johnson Controls Security Products is seeking a highly motivated Regional Sales Manager for the Commercial Security brands Exacq, Kantech and Illustra in the Northeastern United States. This individual will have the opportunity to
lead a team of Manufacturer Representatives (MR's) in meeting and exceeding monthly quotas for each brand! This individual must be based in the New England area, or able and willing to relocate.
How you will do it
Create and execute strategies to strengthen Johnson Controls' relationships with Dealers, Distributors, Specifiers / A&E's and 3rd party technology partners throughout the NE region
Develop new dealer partnerships and continuously promote all brands
Management and reporting of all sales activities, pipeline and forecasting. Provide timely and accurate information relative to sales performance and market conditions
Represent Johnson Controls Security Products at all industry regional events and tradeshows
Collaborate with sales and functional leadership as needed
What you will need
Required
5+ years of experience with sales success within the commercial Security Product industry, which includes Access Control and/or Video Surveillance solutions and technology
Bachelor's degree
Demonstrated success in sales channel management including distribution
Excellent presentation, negotiation and listening skills
Ability to manage existing and forge new strategic relationships with executive-level stakeholders across the region
Highly motivated and self-driven leader
50% travel expectation throughout the Northeastern United States
Candidates must reside in or around a major city in the Northeastern United States
US Citizen and/or Permanent Resident of the US
Preferred
Experience in directly leading manufacturer representatives in a sales-oriented environment
