Job summary

Holt Executive Ltd is seeking a senior cybersecurity leader to define and drive the security architecture for next-generation satellite communications and space infrastructure programmes spanning space and ground segments. This high-impact role carries end-to-end responsibility for cybersecurity, lawful intercept, and secure communications across mission operations, networks, and spacecraft systems.

Qualifications

• 12+ years’ experience in cybersecurity or related fields.
• Proven leadership in security architecture for complex telecom/space systems.
• Experience with regulated or security-cleared programmes.
• Knowledge of space security concepts (authentication, anti-spoofing, cryptography).
• Certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, CEH desirable.
• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Cyber Security or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of lawful intercept capabilities across gateway and terrestrial networks.
• Define and maintain cybersecurity architecture across mission operations, networks, and control systems.
• Embed data sovereignty and regulatory requirements into system design.
• Lead space segment security design including authentication and cryptography.
• Support security clearance processes and regulatory submissions.
• Coordinate penetration testing and end-to-end security audits across the programme.
• Act as final technical authority for security architecture approvals.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to embed security throughout the life‑cycle.
