Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade security strategies at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Hampton, VA. This fully onsite role requires TS/SCI clearance and deep expertise in networks, encryption, and security controls.

You will guide security posture across the organization, conduct risk assessments, develop policies, and coordinate with IT and development teams to embed security in the SDLC and operations.

Qualifications

• High School with 10+ years or commensurate experience.
• Experience with STIGs, ACAS, HBSS/Trellix, vulnerability management, and secure configuration baselines.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and identify threats and mitigations.
• Translate complex security concepts for diverse stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and security technologies.

• Design and implement security architecture aligned with business objectives and compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and prioritize mitigations.
• Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, standards and procedures.
