Job summary

LMI Consulting, LLC in the Washington, DC area is seeking an experienced Enterprise IT Architect to design and integrate secure enterprise IT and communications infrastructure across multiple facilities, including classified environments.

You will define target-state architecture, ensure site interoperability, and translate mission requirements into scalable technical solutions for a milestone-driven prototype program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years of enterprise IT architecture experience, including in classified environments.
• Strong understanding of network, systems, and security architecture.
• Experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams.
• Experience architecting IT infrastructure for SCIF or other classified environments.
• Working knowledge of RMF/NIST SP 800-37/800-53 and security authorization.

Responsibilities

• Lead enumeration and documentation of the technical baseline across multiple sites, including classified enclaves.
• Design target-state network and systems architectures for secure facilities with interoperability.
• Develop security authorization roadmaps with ISSO and security leads.
• Define architecture for enterprise services including VTC and 24x7 SOC/NOC monitoring.
• Produce design documentation and inputs for milestone deliverables and proposals.
• Communicate design decisions and tradeoffs to sponsors and stakeholders.
