Job summary

Engineering Services Network, Inc. (ESN) seeks a Cybersecurity Engineer II to support a NIWC Atlantic contract in Norfolk/Chesapeake, VA. This on-site role focuses on implementing and enforcing cyber defenses for Navy systems and ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in a related field, 3+ years of cyber policy experience, IAM/IAT/IASAE Level I certification, and an Active Secret clearance to operate on this program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience implementing cybersecurity policy and DoD IAM/IAT/IASAE Level I.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, upgrade, and monitor cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber-resilient network.
• Assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure
• Respond to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports.
• Schedule is Monday through Friday with some weekend support required.
• Performs other duties and works hours as required to meet contractual obligations.
