Job summary

Dover Fueling Systems is seeking a Security Architect to lead security architecture across cloud, on-premises, and edge environments. You will embed secure-by-design and DevSecOps practices into delivery, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and work with customers to convey risk and controls.

The role requires expertise in PCI DSS, SSF, threat modeling, CVE management, and secure network design, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in security architecture, application security, infrastructure security, or closely related security discipline.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional solution and engineering teams to influence technical decisions without direct reporting authority.
• Comfortable leading customer discussions on solution security and network security architecture.
• Practical experience in cloud and on-premises security architectures; PCI SSF and fueling industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the security architecture roadmap across cloud, edge, applications, APIs, network, and connected devices.
• Partner with solution, product, infrastructure, and engineering teams to assess architecture and remediation priorities.
• Engage with customers to discuss solution security and communicate risks and controls.
• Define target-state security architecture, roadmaps, and implementation guidelines.
• Embed secure-by-design, threat modeling, and security reviews throughout delivery lifecycles.
• Establish and improve DevSecOps processes, including CI/CD security controls.
• Triage CVEs with security specialists and drive remediation or risk acceptance.
• Define vulnerability-management expectations for software, containers, IaC, and third-party components.
• Guide teams on secure network architecture including segmentation, IAM, encryption, and remote connectivity.
• Ensure architectures align with PCI DSS, SSF, and fueling-industry standards.
