Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Security Architect to lead secure cloud architecture across public, private, and hybrid environments. You will design, mature, and govern security patterns and controls, mentor teammates, and align with cybersecurity strategies (CMMC, NIST) to protect enterprise assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of related experience; equivalent additional directly related experience considered.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; travel frequency varies by project.
• Experience with secure cloud architectures and cybersecurity best practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect and articulate scalable secure multi-cloud visions (public, private, hybrid).
• Advise Cloud team on secure deployments and configurations with the CoE.
• Review architectures with Enterprise Architecture; lead SaaS, PaaS, IaaS security design.
• Guide secure design, build, test and deployment across cloud platforms.
• Mentor juniors and collaborate with security, architecture and engineering leadership.
• Enforce enterprise standards for secure, resilient, compliant solutions.
