The role collaborates with stakeholders across business projects and initiatives to build a secure development framework and mitigate risk.

The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise, oversees complex programs, and helps drive secure, efficient delivery of business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Ten or more years of experience in cyber security focusing on software development, SDLC, or security architecture.
• Experience bringing domain context into technology and security discussions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops a strategic cyber security architecture aligned with Regions’ IT strategy.
• Serves as cyber security expert advising businesses and IT groups.
• Collaborates with Enterprise Architecture and Development to improve security posture.
• Designs architecture, evaluates risk, and approves production deployments.
• Ensures compliance with regulations, policies, and industry trends.
• Establishes compliance standards and metrics with owners of applications/systems.
• Provides consultative services for large, complex projects.
• Leads junior architects and develops team capabilities.
