Job summary

Regions is seeking a Cyber Security Architect to advance its cyber security program by developing and implementing a secure architecture and secure SDLC practices. This role collaborates with stakeholders across enterprise architecture and development teams and leads complex security projects.

The position is onsite with multiple location options including Birmingham, AL; Atlanta, GA; Nashville, TN; or Charlotte, NC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 10+ years in cyber security.
• Alternative: HS diploma with 14+ years in cyber security.

Responsibilities

• Develops a strategic cyber security architecture and vision aligned with IT strategy.
• Provides advisory services to businesses, IT groups, and senior leadership.
• Works with Enterprise Architecture and App Development to improve security posture.
• Designs security architecture, assesses risk, and approves production security.
• Ensures compliance with regulations, policies, and guidelines.
• Establishes compliant standards and measurable security metrics.
• Supports process improvements and disciplined change management.
• Leads junior architects and mentors technical staff.
• Provides consultative services for significant, complex projects.
