Job summary

Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Security & Emergency Services Manager to safeguard residents, staff, and visitors across our Highland Springs community. The role leads safety programs, conducts inspections, and acts as incident commander during emergencies with a strong focus on hospitality and inclusivity.

The position requires 3+ years in public safety leadership, an Emergency Responder background, and relevant certifications (BLS, OSHA 10, CPP/PSP/CHPA preferred).

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in public safety leadership (Fire/EMS/Law Enforcement), Emergency Management, or comparable leadership experience.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in an Emergency Responder role.
• Emergency Medical Responder Certification (within 6 months of hire).
• Professional Security Certification such as CPP, PSP, or CHPA (preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification.
• OSHA 10-Hour certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assume overall responsibility for the safety, security, and well-being of the community.
• Conduct safety inspections, testing, and audits in support of Life Safety and OSHA compliance.
• Identify safety/security risks and responds accordingly.
• Conduct investigations, documents and preserves evidence as required.
• Operate company vehicles safely and in accordance with established policies and applicable laws.
• Responds to incidents and emergencies of significance and serves as the incident commander until relieved by a higher authority.
• Serve as the liaison officer to external first responders.

Compensation:

Commensurate with experience starting at $80,000.00 per year
