Erickson Senior Living’s Highland Springs community in North Dallas, TX seeks a Security & Emergency Services Manager to safeguard residents, staff, and guests. Lead safety initiatives, coordinate emergency responses, and ensure compliance with life-safety standards.

You will oversee investigations, risk assessment, and liaison with first responders, while promoting a culture of hospitality, inclusivity, and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in public safety leadership (Fire/EMS/Law Enforcement) or comparable leadership experience.
• Current and valid driver's license.
• Emergency Medical Responder Certification within 6 months of hire.
• OSHA 10-Hour certification within 6 months of hire.
• BLS CPR certification.
• Professional Security Certification such as CPP, PSP, or CHPA (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assume overall responsibility for safety, security, and well-being of the community.
• Conduct safety inspections, testing, and audits for Life Safety and OSHA compliance.
• Identify safety and security risks and respond accordingly.
• Conduct investigations and preserve evidence as required.
• Operate company vehicles safely and per policies and laws.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies as incident commander until relieved.
• Serve as liaison to external first responders.

How you will make an impact

What you will need

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in public safety leadership (Fire/EMS/Law Enforcement), Emergency Management, or comparable leadership experience
• Current and valid driver's license
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in an Emergency Responder role
• Emergency Medical Responder Certification (within 6 months of hire)
• Professional Security Certification such as CPP, PSP, or CHPA (preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification
• OSHA 10-Hour certification within 6 months of hire

Compensation: Commensurate with experience starting at $80,000.00 per year
