Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a Junior Security Analyst to join our security programs for client-facing engagements. The role combines security analysis, engineering, and operations tasks to ensure cloud security and FISMA compliance across client environments.

You'll analyze control implementations, help produce security documentation, support vulnerability scanning, and contribute to remediation efforts while collaborating with teams across Cadmus’ global client base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 1–2 years of experience in Security Analysis work
• Excellent Technical Writing skills
• Experience working directly with clients
• Ability to work autonomously and consistently deliver within deadlines
• Experience with creating and maintaining detailed documentation
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent multitasking skills
• Security+, or equivalent security certification
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust is required

Responsibilities

• 1-2 years of IT security experience with various security tools
• Work with JIRA and Confluence for tracking and collaboration
• Utilize Burp Suite or equivalent dynamic testing tools
• Use Snyk or equivalent for dependency management and security testing
• Assess AWS cloud security controls and configurations
• Monitor security events with SIEMs like Splunk
• Apply SAFe practices in security program delivery
• Contribute to DevSecOps mindset and tooling
• Operate with GitHub for version control and collaboration
• Support security documentation like SSPs and POAMs
